With approximately 25 million Americans requesting assistance from our nation's food banks each year, the issue of hunger across the country cannot be denied or ignored. Hunger directly impacts thousands of families and citizens in Pennsylvania, and its secondary effects impact our entire Commonwealth. It is imperative that society as a whole is aware of the issues related to hunger and take individual and collective action to address the problem.
